Medium: Education is a set of three two-day intensive workshops exploring contemporary graphic design. The workshops will be led by designers from the Dutch studios Moniker and Mind Design, with Roosje Klap and artists from the Warsaw Noviki studio. The event is targeted at designers, students, artists and art theorists. The point of departure of the discussion is the designer’s place in the education process, when he or she is not only a participant but can also actively shape this process. The organisers are particularly interested in the potential of this ambivalent role as regards design, and in how it can contribute to the relationship between designers and society.
